The author clearly has a master mind working in her back pocket. She clearly has a strong understanding of human psychology and relationships.
This is one of the best things about the book. There are bonus materials at the end of each chapter that show different women the benefits of his secret obsession and how using these tactics can benefit you. I especially liked the bonus materials, which included women talking about their past relationships and the drawbacks they had. These stories were very heart-warming and comforting. The bonus materials also gave me a brief summary of what comes next in the second part of this psychological thriller about the hero’s secret instinct.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read. The author is very open and honest in her criticism of traditional psychology. However, some people may find the character of James Bond somewhat lacking in having his own personal psychological make-up. In my opinion, I think James Bond is more realistic because he does have a real weakness. I think James Bond is truly a unique man with a very human hero instinct.
Overall, this is an interesting take on the art of developing relationships. It provides a good look into the nature of our hero instincts as well as a few tips on how to overcome them.
